Alois Wosnitza (17 November 1914 – 13 December 1982) was a highly decorated Oberfeldwebel and ground-attackpilot in the Luftwaffe during World War II.〔For a list of Luftwaffe ground attack aces see ''List of German World War II Ground Attack aces''〕 He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross ((ドイツ語:Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes)). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. During his career he flew 1217 missions of which about 150 were flown with the Focke Wulf Fw 190. He was credited with the destruction of 104 tanks, two armoured trains, 12 bridges, one freighter, one troop transport and several landing crafts.
